In today's WOKE culture, the WOKISTS wish to save the planet. Or, do they? Is this their moral high ground of conservation or their way of crushing the economy and ultimate population control? You can't have it both ways.
The Naturalists who slap lawsuits on Oregon watersheds in order to save a spotted frog from imminent extinction, are also the ones creating the drought. They cry Climate Change is causing the drought and ensuing loss of animal and plant life. But they never mention the fact they are draining all the water supply in the winter for the growing seasons in Central Oregon. They cry "Climate Change" all the while creating Man-Made drought. Statistics show the polar ice caps are growing, not shrinking. And yet, these moral high ground Naturalists wish to warm the Deschutes river waterways to save the endangered spotted frog. Of course, they don't talk about keystone species that TRUMP the spotted frog LEGALLY like Bull Trout, Salmon and Steelhead. Salmon and Steelhead to our waterways are like honey bees to our farmlands. They are critical to the environments. So, why haven't politicians used this effectively to stop the draining of water out of Wikiup and other reservoirs?
Because they are trying to pull the stye out of your eye when they should be removing the log out of their own. When I say get back to the basics of Law & Order, that means we enforce Constitutional and Statutory laws already on the books to stop this madness. It can be done. We The People have enough power to make this happen in Deschutes County. And good leadership from our County Commissioners is where that can start.
